Corsica makes wine? The large, mountainous, French island of Corsica is actually closer to the coast of Italy and makes Italian style wines. Great wine choices for Italian wine or food lovers! This wine is the perfect summertime red, especially when served at the proper temperature (60-65 °F). It is alive with bright red cherry and strawberry notes, light bodied, lightly textured, easy drinking (with food!!) and ready to open and enjoy. Pair this with grilled white meats, grilled veggies, or pizza with red sauce. In true French (and Italian) style, this wine is best appreciated with food. The acid level of the wine compliments food, but without it, the wine is too acidic for sipping. Even the wine novice, and quite possibly a red wine virgin, will like it.
