Out of the three 1 oz pours I had at Robert Mondavi’s tasting room, I enjoyed the Moscato d’Oro the most.  It really surprised my friend and I because the sweet, exotic fruit and perfume on the nose gave us the impression it would be sticky sweet, but it was actually lighter in body than most dessert wines and had a pleasant, lingering, honeysuckle finish.  Think summertime sipping wine out on the porch with some roasted, salted nuts or a lovely after-dinner wine, a dessert in-of-it’s-self.  Retails at $25/bottle and a little goes a long way.
