Look for the adorable red and gold rooster on this wine label and enjoy the surprise inside! I never would have thought to look for a Cabernet Franc from Australia. I didn’t know anything about it when I opened it and was exceedingly pleased with each glass of this rich, red wine. It is inviting with fresh dark berries, earthiness, and feminine floral notes. I swirl and swirl, excited about a new, mystery wine. Alive with acidity but very mild tannins, the wine is medium in body, well-balanced, and complements the nose. This Cab Franc is silky, soft, and worth the foreplay. It was heartbreaking when the bottle was empty. I recommend this bottle to wine lovers that favor complex reds without the bite of serious tannins.
